News from Calla's parents;
Hi Beth! We have some videos and pictures and I've been
flooding my facebook page with puppy stuff! Day 1, she woke up nearly
every hour but would pee and go back to sleep. She was ready to
play and eat at 6am. Last night, she woke up about every two hours
starting at 2am but was wanting playtime each time she woke up.
She ate around 7am and she played hard all morning, which is why
she's wiped out! She loves her little kiddie pool and we went to
Petsmart yesterday to get more toys. She is eating and taking vitamins
well. She's not crying except for when she needs to go outside and
when she REALLY wants to be held and do kisses. She's super cuddly
and will yip and crawl up my chest to my face so she can kiss. Adorable!
She's only had a couple of accidents inside and that was when we
took her to a room with carpet and she had just gone outsde. She
decided she likes that stuff! The best part is that our other dog,
Gracie, is starting to play with her and even teach her some things,
like not to chew shoes when daddy leaves them on the floor! We are
very happy about that, we worried that Gracie would be territorial
about her new yard and house and about us. She's been our only dog
and doesn't usually like when our family's pug comes to visit the
house. She's friendly with other dogs on their turf but not always
on ours, so we are thankful for that! We will get these pics off
the camera (memory card is already full!) and send some to you soon!
Thanks,
Heather
